Greenies, hope everyone is enjoying the big 35-21 win over Memphis as we await bowl news.
Southern Miss just got back to me, and we have the contract details for Tulane OC-turned-USM Head Coach Will Hall hire.
Contract Summary
Length of Deal: Four Years (2021, 2022, 2023, 2024)
Salary: $800K
This is a sizable jump for USM who paid Jay Hopson $500K prior to firing this year according to the USA Today database.
Buyout: Coach Hall’s buyout will range from $1.5M to $500K on the schedule below.

Congrats again to Will Hall on making the well deserved move up to an FBS coaching gig. We believe, based on on some Twitter research, that Hall is the first Tulane coach to be poached for a head coach job since way back in 1979 with Larry Infante went to the mighty Jacksonville Bulls of the USFL.
So yeah, it’s been a while. This is likely a good sign for Fritz’s narrative that Tulane is now a place where coaches can grow and make the next step in their careers too.

Coach Hall is where he should be. Congratulations, I will root for the Golden Eagles as they are not a threat to the Greenies.
